Background & Founder's Journey

My name is Ronald Redd, EA. My accounting career began in 2006 preparing individual income tax returns, managing payroll, and establishing accounting controls for Professional Services of Alabama, Inc. While honing my technical skills, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Accounting with Business Honors from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).

To deepen my mastery of multi-state tax compliance, financial reporting, and assurance, I transitioned to public accounting as a Senior Staff Accountant at Culotta, Scroggins, Hendricks & Gillespie, PC, leading audit engagements and managing complex multi-entity corporate tax filings. I then expanded my enterprise financial skills as a Senior Staff Accountant in reinsurance accounting at Protective Life Corporation, before serving as Corporate Controller for Atlas Healthcare, LLC, where I directed full-cycle financial operations and accounting software transformations.

Most recently, I served as BPO / CAS Manager at Roedl Langford de Kock, directing full-cycle outsourced CFO operations, multi-state sales & use tax compliance, personal property renditions, and client advisory services. Today, as the founder of Redd Tax LLC, I bring this multi-industry corporate and public accounting experience directly to business owners and individuals seeking high-tier Outsourced CFO Advisory and comprehensive IRS Tax Relief.
